Payment policy

These Payment Terms explain how payments, billing, and disputes are handled when you purchase or sell through the Holiday Kit Market (“HKM”, “we”, “us”). By using the Marketplace, you agree to these Payment Terms in addition to our Terms & Conditions.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

• We currently accept payments by Visa and Mastercard only.

• All transactions are processed securely through our third-party payment provider.

• You authorize us (through our payment provider) to charge your selected payment method for purchases, fees, and applicable taxes.

2. Currency

• All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout.

• Exchange rates, if applicable, are determined by your card issuer or bank.

3. Payment Timing

• Customers are charged at the time of purchase.

• For Sellers, payouts are made to the designated account after applicable fees, chargebacks, or refunds are deducted, subject to payment provider processing timelines.

4. Disputes & Chargebacks

• If you believe there is an unauthorized or incorrect charge, you must contact info@holidaykitmarket.com before initiating a dispute with your card issuer.

• If a chargeback is filed, resolution may take 15–21 business days, depending on your bank and the payment provider’s process.

• HKM may provide supporting evidence to resolve disputes.

• If a chargeback is decided in the Customer’s favor, the Seller will be responsible for the refunded amount and any associated fees.

5. Security & PSD2 Compliance

• Payments comply with the EU Payment Services Directive 2 (PSD2) and may require Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) (e.g., entering a code sent by your bank or biometric verification).

• Transactions not authenticated according to PSD2 requirements may be declined by your bank.

6. Failed or Declined Payments

• Orders will not be processed if payment authorization fails.

• You are responsible for ensuring that your payment details are accurate and that your account has sufficient funds.

7. Fees

• Customers pay the price shown at checkout, including applicable taxes and shipping (if physical items).

• Sellers may be subject to platform, transaction, and payout fees as disclosed in their Seller Dashboard.

8. Refunds & Returns

Refunds, where applicable, are handled under our Return & Refund Policy. Once approved, refunds are returned to the original payment method within 7–14 business days, depending on your card issuer.

9. Changes

We may update these Payment Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted with a new effective date.
